Widget not displaying default image for events that were shared to that group from another group

I have a widget that is displaying events from Group A. The events in Group A are shared to it from numerous other groups, including Group B. When an event from Group B doesn’t have an image set explicitly, it shows a default image that is visible when looking at the event from Group B or from a widget that displays Group B.

However, when that event is shared from Group B to Group A, the copy of the event in Group A doesn’t have an image set in the LiveWhale backend. In the LiveWhale frontend, it appears to have a default image that I believe is set on the whole calendar instance. In the Group A widget, it looks like a broken image.

Is there a way to make sure that events that are shared from group to group come over to the target group with the source group’s default image?

Thanks Dony – I see what you mean. We’re going to update this logic so the Group Default Image carries across groups when an event is saved and include it in our next minor/patch release. You can stay tuned for that on our release notes or sign up for email notifications.
