One of our users has found that when creating a widget and selecting an audience, the audience chosen is not saving 100%.
For example, if we choose “staff”, that selection does not remain after saving the widget. If “public” is chosen, that seems to stick.
We have also found the same behavior occurring in the new version on dev, so some audience options will save successfully but others won’t.
Is there any particular reason why some audiences will save and not others?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we were able to reproduce the general issue on our LWC3 test server and are including a fix in our next minor/patch release. 
The issue you’re finding on 2.x we haven’t actually been able to reproduce, hmm—it may be because a trailing slash appears to have snuck into your “Staff” audience type name somehow (Staff )? I’d suggest maybe trying to edit and rename that audience type to just “Staff” (with no trailing space) and see if the 2.x widget behavior seems normal then?
