Today’s AWS outage and after-effects
As you may know, we use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for LiveWhale Cloud Hosting, and AWS has had some big outages this morning.
We are monitoring the situation and, so far, all LiveWhale-hosted sites and LiveWhale support infrastructure have been materially unaffected by the outages. 
Though the original AWS issue appears to have been resolved earlier this morning, there do seem to be some ripple effects and general instability in other dependent services across the web as things recover; we’ll keep an eye on things and will let you know if anything changes.
