Passing Tags from Campus Groups linked calendars to LiveWhale

Part of our LiveWhale calendar includes linked calendars that pass over events from CampusGroups to a group in LiveWhale. We can see that event tags from CampusGroups are being passed into the LiveWhale tag library. However, the tags are not passing on to the individual events that have the tag. So the tags come into the LiveWhale tag library but not to the event. Has anyone else had this same issue?

So sorry this thread fell through the cracks last semester!

I do believe we have core code to digest and sync tags from CampusGroups (CATEGORIES;X-CG-CATEGORY=event_tags: in ICAL format) – if you want to share an example .ics URL here, we can plug it in as a Linked Calendar to one of our installs and see if we’re able to re-create the issue.

Hi Karl. At some point the tags started passing through to all events so it magically fixed itself! :slight_smile: Thanks for following up.
