When putting an event into the calendar that happens across multiple days, I would expect to see the event when looking at a Day within the span of days the event is happening. However, we only see the event on the first day of the start of the event and nothing further. What needs to happen in order for events that span across days to show?
Most likely, there is a developer setting (hide_repeats=true) set, but there seems to be no way to confirm this setting or change it to false by anyone in our organization.
Duplicating the event is very time-consuming and not a viable long-term option. Its what we are currently doing.
Sorry to hear this is giving you trouble. If you’re referring to calendar.southernct.edu, yes, I can see from the browser that hide_repeats=true is set in the calendar request (more on that setting here). Changing it to false should give you what you’re after.
That setting lives in the calendar theme files. Usually a developer or calendar owner on your end would have SFTP credentials for editing theming and configuration, but we’ve seen sometimes if there’s turnover in those roles, a newer person may need a refresher on access.
