Make "Privacy Options" Information more findable

Occasionally, I need to reference information about what the “Anyone with the link” privacy option actually means. I know this information is in the docs, but I can never find it. If you search for “privacy” or “anyone with the link”, nothing comes up. Eventually, I find the information I am looking for on Sitemaps and robots.txt - LiveWhale Support, usually because I reverted to a Google search.

Could there be a dedicated page or section of a page within the docs to explain “Privacy Options”? It should include the information from that page above about how that setting excludes the content from the sitemap, does not add it to robots.txt, and does add a noindex meta tag.

Of course, now that I am posting this, this post will come up in a search, so I’ll be able to find it this way too. :wink:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We do have a section about it in our Calendar Onboarding docs: Adding Events to LiveWhale Calendar - LiveWhale Support but we realize these privacy options certainly apply to both LWC and CMS.

We’ve got this now: Privacy Options - LiveWhale Support that should help cover all that information. We’ve also added some additional search terms and with all those things combined, it seems to have helped and things popping up more readily:
