LW version updates

Friday I received an email about 2.18.0 which states that it ‘will go to dev servers this weekend‘ so I thought that today (Monday after the weekend) I would see it on my dev server but instead the dev server dashboard gives this message:

[Upgrade scheduled: LiveWhale 2.18.0 (Sunday, Dec. 1 at 3am)

which makes me think my dev server thinks it’s a prod server running automatic updates even though it says it is in development mode.

Have I misunderstood the email?

Is it ok to pull the update onto dev manually now?

Sometimes the Sunday morning cron job doesn’t run as expected to pull the automatic upgrade; you can feel free to run it manually if LW permits you to (if it thinks you’re a production server, it won’t let you pull before the release date), or anyone running into this can reach out to us via the Help Request Form or your personalized email support address if you’d like us to take a look.
