How to be made aware of new/updated documentation?

In the same way that we can subscribe to regular emails highlighting new topics/communication in the support forum, is it possible to create a separate subscription (or modify the existing subscription) to include a list of new articles/posts in the documentation?

There might not be enough new posts in the documentation to warrant this feature, but it would be nice to know somehow if a new article is written or new information is made available.

Hi Janet,

That’s a good question. The forum uses a special forum platform (Discourse) but the support documentation is powered by LiveWhale; we do have tools for allowing users to see when content is updated, but I’m not sure there’s a quick or easy answer for that sort of email subscription.

That said, I’ve raised it with the team, and we’ll see if it’s possible to make some version of this information visible — for example a “recently updated” section on the documentation homepage? I’ll keep you posted.

Hi Jason,

A “recently updated” section would be a great solution! Even having a special mark or color on the docs homepage to indicate which articles have been recently updated could be enough to highlight the new information. At any rate, flagging these updates on the docs homepage (versus a separate email) is more appealing to me.

Excited to see what your team comes up with.

Thank you,
Janet
