The following warning is showing in the diagnostics
Issue: Your web site is lacking a favicon.
Suggestion: We recommend adding a favicon (such as /favicon.ico) to your site.
Our website has a favicon configured in the markup so not entirely sure where the warning is coming from. Does the web site with issue in the warning refers to our website or does it refer to the LiveWhale /livewhale backend sites e.g. https://xyz.com.au/livewhale?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It looks like our core checker assumes an .ico format when scanning, so your site’s .png favicon isn’t being caught.
No worries, you can ignore that as a false positive, and we’ll nuance that code in an upcoming release so you don’t see that warning.
Yep! We’re planning to release it to dev sites at the end of this week, so it’ll be available to review and testing starting next week. The official release date (when it will be available to pull to production, and when auto-upgrading production sites will update) will be Sunday, December 1.
