Deleted dynamic content ends up in a kind of recycling bin. It is accessible from the Dashboard. Top Toolbar, “Search Content” tab, “Deleted Items”.
Going by our instance, I see events from all the way back to August 14. I assume then that deleted Events are held for a year by default.
So, for your case, I believe it is very likely that the event from April 2024 can be retrieved. Not sure what the edit history would include after restoration though.
You could try searching the activity log for those specific event keywords to see if there are any details around edits from any user
You could also double-check that when filtering along the side you’ve chosen the option “All groups” vs. the default group you are currently in
And speaking a little more broadly to the topic: there is a possibility that the event was part of a linked calendar and if removed from there may not appear in the trash. However, in recent updates, we’ve implemented new LiveWhale code that would preserve those from being completely deleted though—which I believe your install already has that.
