Is it possible to add custom fields to the window that pops up when you click an image while editing a page (see screenshot)? We have custom fields in our backend image edit screen (that you get off the ‘Images’ tab in the dashboard) which we would like to have appear on the popup as well.
I couldn’t find anything in docs but maybe I didn’t search the right way…

Thanks for writing – the “Add/Insert/Upload Image(s)” modals are somewhat terrifyingly complex (which I’m mostly aware of since we’ve revamped them for LiveWhale 3.0 with new UI plus support for custom-ALT-text-per-usage options). Given their complexity, I don’t see a likelihood of that UI being a spot where we’re able to accommodate much customization, unfortunately. We have done some backend.js work there in the past on client projects, so I do know it’s possible, but my sense is it’s quite involved.
If you wanted to say a bit more about how you’re using Image custom fields and what purpose they’re serving for you, we can always look at it for consideration for the core roadmap, though. Thanks,
